Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a sweet angel-themed holiday card featuring the adorable Let Your Heart Sing Stamp & Die Collection from Papertrey Ink’s latest release. This charming set includes the sweetest little angels, with different hairstyles and even a set of wings!
To begin, I created a hot foiled a pretty snowflake background using the Fanciful Snowflakes Background with purple, red and pink hot foil onto an A2-sized white cardstock panel. Next, I die cut an 5″ x 4″ oval using a die from my stash with Pale Peony Cardstock. I then die cut a pretty white oval background using the Reflections: 1 Peter Die Collection and layered it over the pink oval before adhering both to the foiled background.
To create the angels, I stamped and die cut the images using the following inks and supplies listed from left to right:
- Left Angel– Coastal Blue, Aqua Sky, Pure Poppy, Vintage Cream, Over Coffee, Blueberry Sky
- Middle Angel– Berry Sorbet, Pale Peony, Antique Ivory, Lemon Drop, Pure Poppy, Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky, New Leaf, Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Metallic Gel Pen
- Right Angel– Antique Ivory, Honey Nut, Pure Poppy, Blueberry Sky, Spring Rain
I added a little texture and shading to their hair with Prismacolor pencils and gave each angel rosy cheeks with Copic Marker R20. Once the angels were complete, I arranged and adhered them to the card front.
To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment “Hark The Herald Angels Sing” in Scarlet Jewel ink and added a few clear crystals for a little extra sparkle.
