BUILD – A – BELL WITH PAPERTREY INK

Posted on November 7, 2026November 7, 2026 by Catherine

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a festive holiday card featuring the Build-A-Bell Collection from Papertrey Ink’s latest release. This fun collection has everything you need to create your own holiday bells, including three different stencil patterns, holly, and a bow.

To begin, I hot foiled a falling snow background onto A2-sized Coastal Blue cardstock. I then used the largest die from the Love To Layer: Fancy That Die Collection to cut an opening in the center. I adhered the panel to a 5 3/4″ x 4 1/2″ piece of white cardstock.

For the bells, I die cut both from white cardstock. On the first bell, I used the snowflake stencil from the collection with Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide to create a pretty snowflake pattern. I ink blended the inner bell with Chipped Sapphire and Blueprint Sketch. For the second bell, I used the ornate stencil with Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxides. I die cut the bell clappers from Silver Metallic Cardstock for a little shine.

Next, I die cut the decorative accessories from white cardstock and ink blended them with the following Distress Oxides:

  • Holly: Bundled Sage
  • Berries: Festive Berries, Fossilized Amber
  • Bows: Kitsch Flamingo, Spun Sugar

Once all the pieces were ready, I arranged them on the card front. To finish, I white heat embossed the sentiment “Glad Tidings To You This Holiday Season” from This Is Big Sentiments: Happy Holidays onto a dark red banner. I added a few Nuvo Glitter Drops for extra shimmer.

Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you enjoyed my card and found a little holiday inspiration!
