Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a festive, swinging ornament card featuring the Holiday Wreath Die Collection from Papertrey Ink’s latest release. This beautiful set includes a wreath base, an assortment of festive foliage , and an ornament with coordinating holiday sentiments.
To begin, I embossed an A2-sized white cardstock panel using the Fanciful Snowflake Backdrop to create a pretty snowflake background. I then used the wreath die to cut an opening in the center of the panel. I cut a matching opening in a second A2-sized white panel, which will be used on the inside of the card to conceal the adhesive.
The wreath die cuts two separate pieces- the wreath and the center opening. I placed the wreath shaped piece from the second white panel back into the opening of the embossed panel and secured it with tape on the underside.

Next, I stamped and die cut the wreath, bow, ornament, and the festive florals using the Papertrey Ink inks listed below. To create the swinging ornament, I inserted a small brad into the ornament topper and attached a piece of gold string. I secured the string to the back of the embossed panel, then adhered the second white panel over it to hide the adhesive.
With the ornament in place, I adhered the wreath to the card front and arranged the festive foliage around it. I added a red stamped “Merry & Bright” sentiment from the set and finished the card with a pretty red bow and a few clear sequins for a touch of sparkle.
Thanks for joining me today! I hope you enjoyed this festive swinging ornament card!
