Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a festive box of cookies for the holiday season featuring the Christmas Sugar Cookies and Christmas Shapes Stencil from the latest release. The Christmas Sugar Cookies set includes a variety of fun holiday shapes that you can decorate, along with a serving plate!
To begin, I ink blended a pink background onto A2 pink cardstock using the Stencil, then set the panel aside to dry. I die cut a large scalloped rectangle from the Eyelet Rectangles Dies set and adhered it to the center of the pink background panel.
To create the cookie box, I die cut the box from Kraft and cream cardstock using the Box of Chocolate Dies. I added some shredded paper inside to resemble the filling of a holiday gift box. I then die cut the ribbon and bow from the set and ink blended them with Lumberjack and Festive Berries Distress Oxides.
Next, I stamped and die cut the images from the Christmas Sugar Cookies set and colored them with Copic Markers listed below. I arranged the cookies inside the box and added the ribbon and bow.
For some festive greenery, I die cut several pieces from Pine Sprigs and the Fall Mug Additions sets. I ink blended them with Rustic Wilderness, Mowed Lawn, and Bundled Sage Distress Oxides, and used Festive Berries for the berries.
I completed the card with the sentiment ” Have A Holly Jolly Christmas” from Inside Sentiments: Christmas, stamped in red onto a cream banner. A few glittery highlights and a gold enamel dot in the centre of the bow added the finishing touches.
