HOLIDAY CUTTING BOARD WITH PAPERTREY INK

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a fun holiday cutting board-themed card featuring the Cutting Board Tags Collection from Papertrey Ink’s latest release. This collection is so much fun! It includes a napkin, foliage, stencils to decorate the napkin, a serving fork and spoon, and a bow to tie everything together. I added a few gingerbread cookies from the Gingerbread Bakery set for an extra festive touch!

To begin, I use the Rustic Wilderness Hotplate to add texture to an A2 panel of Vintage Cream Cardstock. I then die cut a white oval using the larger die from the Love To Layer: Beaded Trim Die Collection and adhered it slightly off center.

Next, I die cut the cutting board with Kraft cardstock and inked the edges with Honey Nut ink to add depth. For the napkin, I used white cardstock and stencilled a striped pattern with Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide using the stencil included in the collection.

I die cut the berries and foliage from white cardstock, blending Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxides onto the foliage and Scarlet Jewel and Pure Poppy inks onto the berries.

For the serving utensils, I die cut the fork from Fine Linen cardstock and inked the edges with Honey Nut ink. The spoon was die cut from Vintage Cream cardstock, with Fine Linen ink blended around the edges to add dimension.

I stamped and die cut the gingerbread cookies from the Gingerbread Bakery set using Fine Linen and Honey Nut inks, then added a little sugary sparkle with Ranger Rock Candy.

To finish the card, I added a polka dot bow die cut from Bitty Big Scarlet Jewel cardstock and a red stamped “Open For Fresh-Baked Holiday Happiness” from the Made With Love Sentiments.
