Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a holiday card featuring the adorable Cozy Dogs set from Lawn Fawn’s latest release. This set is especially sweet for dog lovers! There is also a similar cat version for cat lovers that was released earlier.
To begin, I ink blended a soft winter sky with Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass, and Salty Ocean Distress Oxides. I added falling snow with the Snowy Sky Stencil and White Stencil Paste, then set the background aside to dry.
Next, I die cut the Winter Forest Backdrop from white cardstock and added chunky glitter to the snow hills for a little exra sparkle.
For the frame, I used the largest Postage Rectangle Stackables die along with the largest die from the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables to create the opening. I adhered the frame over the Winter Forest Backdrop and then over the background.
I stamped and die cut the images from the sets listed below and colored them with Copic Markers listed below. I arranged the pieces on the card front and adhered them with foam tape for extra dimension.
To finish the card, I pieced together the sentiment using several different sets. I white heat embossed “Sending” from the Special Delivery set, “Howliday” from the Cozy Dogs set, and “Wishes” from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment:Spring.
