Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Halloween Theme Week at Pretty Pink Posh, and today I’m sharing a spooky silhouette card featuring the Halloween Silhouettes Set, Pinking Ovals, and Spooky Trees Stencil. The Halloween Silhouettes set includes lots of fun, images that you can combine to create your own eerie scene.
To begin, I created a soft background by blending Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Ink through the Spooky Trees Stencil. I lightly splattered the panel with the same ink diluted with water to add a bit of texture, then set it aside to dry.
Next, I die cut ovals from white, pink, lavender, mint, and black glitter cardstock and layered them over the spooky tree background.
I stamped the silhouettes and sentiment from Halloween Silhouettes using a deep black ink, then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I arranged and adhered the images to the card front and layered the sentiment over vellum.
To finish the card, I added a thin black mat and a few sparkling crystal gems.
