Hello Crafty Friends! Pretty Pink Posh and Simons Says Stamp have just released their STAMPtember collaboration, the Warm Hearts set, and it is absolutely adorable! The set features three festive mugs, along with fun accessories including marshmallows, candy canes, and whipped cream!
For my project, I created a little holiday counter using the Scalloped Box Die Set to display all three festive mugs.
To begin, I die cut the shadow box from striped cardstock using the Scalloped Shadow Box Die. Next, using the middle two arches from the Stitched Arches Set, I die cut the larger arch from beige cardstock and the smaller arch from black cardstock.
To create a chalkboard effect, I lightly blended white pigment ink over the black arch and heat set it to dry. Once dry, I white heat embossed “Warmest Wishes” sentiment along with a few snowflakes from the set. I adhered the black arch onto the beige arch and then attached the finished piece to the back of the scalloped shadow box.
Next, I stamped and die cut the mugs and accessories with the coordinating dies and colored the images with Copic Markers listed below.
For a few finishing touches, I added colourful sprinkles to the whipped cream and a little glitter to the marshmallows before arranging and adhering all of the images onto the shadow box.
