Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a fun Halloween Platform Pop Up Card featuring the Build-A-Potion set and the Giant Hocus Pocus sentiment from Lawn Fawn latest release!
To begin, I die cut all of the pieces for the Platform Pop-Up using purple striped patterned paper from the Stripes ‘n’ Sprinkles Autumn Petite Paper Pack, along with Blueberry Smoothie Cardstock, and Lilac Cardstock. Once all the pieces were cut, I assembled and adhered the platform together.
For the potion shaker bottle, I die cut the shaker base and frame from white cardstock using the Build-A-Potion Bottle set. I ink blended the base with Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxides to create a fun, magical potion effect. I ink also ink blended the frame with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide.
Next, I die cut another frame from a double sided foam adhesive sheet and another bottle base from acetate. I adhered the acetate behind the cardstock frame, followed by the foam adhesive frame. Then I added a variety of shaker elements onto the ink-blended base and sealed everything together to complete the shaker bottle.
I embellished the bottle with a gold die cut ribbon and a potion tag featuring the sentiment “You Are Magical” from the Hocus Purr-cus! set. A little cork at the top finished off the potion bottle perfectly!
Next, I stamped and die cut the bears, bookcase border, and all of the accessories using the coordinating dies. I colored the images with Copic Markers listed below before arranging and adhering them onto the Platform Pop-Up
To complete the card, I added the Giant Hocus Pocus sentiment and some books from Book Collection for an extra magical touch.
