Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a pair of fall and Halloween gift tags created with the Fall Cloche Stamp & Die set from Papertery Ink’s latest release.
This beautiful set includes pumpkins, berries, leaves, acorns, and other little details that can be tucked inside the cloche. For my project, I thought the cloches were pretty enough to shine on their own, so I turned them into shaker gift tags!
To begin I die cut the cloche bases, glass domes, stands, and all the accessories from white cardstock. I ink blended the cloche backgrounds with Wilted Flower and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxides, then lightly splattered them with Wilted Flower Distress Oxide mixed with a little water.
I stamped the different elements with the following Papertrey Ink colors:
Glass Domes– Spring Rain, Hawaiian Shore
Pumpkins– Vintage Cream & Fine Linen, Spring Rain & Blueberry Sky, Winter Wisteria & Royal Velvet, Canyon Clay & Terracotta Tile, Terracota Tile & Pure Poppy
Acorns– Fine Linen, Honey Nut
Berries– Pure Poppy, Scarlet Jewel
Leaves– Scarlet Jewel
For the stands, I gold heat embossed one and stamped the other with black ink.
To create the shakers, I die cut two dome frames from doubled-sided foam sheets and two cloche bases from acetate. I adhered the acetate bases onto the frames, followed by the foam tape pieces. Next, I arranged the pumpkins, acorns and berries on each cloche background and sprinkled in a few clear sequins. I removed the backing from the foam and sealed each shaker closed.
For the Halloween cloche, I added a “Trick or Treat” sentiment stamped in black on a Vintage Cream banner, along with a black glitter bow from the Fall Cloche Stamp & Die Set and a little bat.
For the Thanksgiving cloche, I added a “Thankful” sentiment stamped in black on a Vintage Cream banner from the Fall Blessings set, then finished it with a twine bow and a crow.
