Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing an inspirational card featuring the Reflections: John 1:4 Collection from Papertrey Ink’s latest release.
To begin, I created a soft, blended background using a gel plate and pink, orange, and yellow inks. Starting with the pink and working toward the yellow, I rolled a brayer across each ink pad and then onto the gel plate, slightly overlapping the colors to create a smooth transition. Next, I placed an A2 panel of white cardstock onto the gel plate and gently rolled a clean brayer over the back to transfer ink. I set the panel aside to dry.

I stamped the scripture verse in black ink onto white cardstock and die cut it using the coordinating die. I also die cut the coordinating layering panels from white cardstock. I ink blended the smaller panel with Kitsch Flamingo and Scattered Straw, then splattered the larger white panel with gold water color for a touch of shimmer.
Next, I die cut flowers and leaves from the Into The Blooms: Mixed Bouquet Die Collection and ink blended them with the following Distress Oxide Inks:
Flowers– Dried Marigold, Carved Pumpkin, Scattered Straw, Antique Linen, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean
Leaves- Bundled Sage, Mowed Lawn
To finish the card, I arranged and adhered all the layers and florals onto the background, then added a few iridescent sequins for a bit of sparkle.
Thanks so much for joining me and I hope you enjoyed today’s card!
