Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a fun birthday coupon-themed card featuring the VIP Ticket Collection, Always A Winner Stamp and Die Set, and the Wild Arrows Press Plate from Papertrey Ink’s latest release. The VIP Ticket Collection is such a creative set, allowing you to customize your own tickets, coupons, and gift-worthy cards for any occasion!
To begin, I created a radiant background on an A2 white cotton card panel using the So Radiant Stencil Collection with Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks. Next, I added the arrow border with the Wild Arrows Press Plate using blue ink. To finish the background, I splattered on a bit of blue water color for added texture and set the panel aside to dry.
Next, I die cut the large ticket die and all the smaller tickets from white cardstock. I stamped the tickets with a variety of images and sentiments from the VIP Ticket Collection and the Always A Winner Stamp and Die Set using red and blue inks. For extra sparkle, I heat embossed one of the tickets and several stars with gold embossing powder.
I lightly inked the edges of the large ticket with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide before assembling then card. The large ticket was layered over patterned paper from the Blueberry Sky Patterned Paper Collection, while the smaller tickets were matted with Berry Sorbet Cardstock.
To finish the card, I added a red and whtie twine bow and a navy border to frame the card.
