BUILD-A-LUGGAGE TAG WITH PAPERTREY INK

Hello Crafty Friends! Happy Release Day from Papertrey Ink! I’m so excited to share this playful luggage tag shaker card showcasing some of the fabulous new products from this release!

To begin, I created a postage-inspired background using the Postage Stencil Collection and blended Festive Berries, Kitsch Flamingo, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks. Once the ink blending was complete, I die cut a white postage frame using the Border Bling Skinny Postage Frame and adhered it over the stencilled background.

Next, I created the luggage tag shakers by die cutting the tag frames from Pale Peony Cardstock and patterned paper from the Pink Posey Patterned Paper Collection. The tag bases were die cut from white cardstock and acetate. I added a stitched background to each tag and lightly stencilled over it using the stencil included in the Build-A-Luggage Tag Collection. I adhered the stitched background onto the tag bases, followed by the acetate on the frames. After adding foam tape around the openings, I filled each tag with sequins, removed the backing paper, and sealed the shakers.

I die cut some pretty florals from Into The Blooms: Mixed Bouquet Die Collection and ink blended with the following Papertrey Ink inks:

• Flowers– Hibiscus Burst, Pale Peony, Harvest Gold, Pure Poppy
• Leaves– New Leaf, Spring Moss

I arranged everything onto the card front and finished the design with a patterned frame from the Pink Posey Patterned Paper Collection.
