FUN IN THE SUN WITH PRETTY PINK POSH

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Day 4 of Pretty Pink Posh’s June Release sneak peeks! Today, I’m excited to share a bright and cheerful summer-themed card featuring a colourful layered stencilled background paired with a simple die-cut sentiment. For this project, I used the Fun In The Sun Shadow Die, Layered Summer Fun Stencil, and Summer Sips set from Pretty Pink Posh’s upcoming release.

To begin, I inked blended the fun background using the Layered Summer Fun Stencil with the following Distress Oxides:

Sunglasses– Festive Berries, Black Soot

Tri-Colored Popsicle– Kitsch Flamingo, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Antique Linen

Solid Popsicle– Salveaged Patina, Cracked Pistachio, Antique Linen

Flip Flops– Salty Ocean, Festive Berries

Sun– Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade

The stencil set includes three separate layering stencils, making it easy to add multiple colors and create a fun, detailed summer scene.

Next, I die cut a vellum panel using the second largest die in the Wonky Stitched Rectangles Set. I die cut the large “Fun In The Sun” sentiment from leftover red and orange cardstock and die cut the shadow layer from white cardstock.

I stamped and die cut the cocktail drink and floral images from the Summer Sips set and colored them with Copic Markers listed below. I finished the card with a clear sequin for some sparkle.
