QUILT IT WITH PAPERTREY INK

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a quilt-inspired card featuring the Quilt-It: Baby Die Set from Papertrey Ink’s latest release! This versatile set includes both small and large square and star quilt bases, along with coordinating diamond-shaped stamps in a variety of patterns, allowing you to create your own unique quilt designs.

For my card, I paired the Quilt-It: Baby Die Set with the new This Is Big Sentiments: Welcome Stamp Set which includes sentiments perfect for welcoming new family members, neighbours, and more. Having moved many times throughout my life, I know how meaningful it is to receive a warm welcome in a new community, which inspired today’s project.

To begin, I die cut an A2 white panel with squares using the Twelve Days of Christmas Background Die. Next, I die-cut 4 patterned squares using the smaller square die from Raspberry Fizz, Spring Rain, and Harvest Gold Patterned Cardstock.

I adhered the patterned squares around the top portion of the background panel, forming a larger square design. I then die-cut a larger white square and mounted it onto a pink mat for added contrast.

Next, I stamped several diamond patterns using the inks listed below and adhered them to a large white star base. Once assembled, I arranged the patterned diamonds onto the star and attached the completed quilt design to the card front.

To finish the card, I added a “Welcome To The Neighborhood” sentiment from the This Is Big Sentiments: Welcome Set and embellished the design with a clear crystal sequin for a touch of sparkle.
