Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a card created with the adorable Mice Tools set from Lawn Fawn’s latest release. This set is just too cute, and I love how many fun scenes you can create with these busy little mice! For my card, I took inspiration from our many trips to IKEA and couldn’t resist creating a tiny crafty version of it.
To begin, I die cut a four square front panel using the Four Square Panel die from patterned cardstock in the Bitsy Blooms Petite Paper Pack. I placed the panel over a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ white cardstock and lightly traced the square openings. I then ink blended each square using Distress Oxides: Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass & Salty Ocean, Spun Sugar & Dried Marigold, and Squeezed Lemonade & Scattered Straw starting from the outer edges and leaving the centers soft and light.
Next, I stamped the images and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I colored the images with Copic Markers listed below. I adhered the front panel onto the background panel with foam tape followed by the images, and the sentiments.
For the greeting, I stamped “To The Best Dad Who Can Build Anything” onto white cardstock and trimmed it into two strips. For the Hej! sign, I die cut yellow cardstock using the smallest oval die from Small Stitched Oval Stackables and stamped the sentiment using Riley’s ABCs with Deep Sea Ink. I mounted it onto a blue rectangle from the Textured Cardstock- Blue paper pack.
I stamped “Happy Father’s Day” from the Mice Tools set, colored it with Copics listed below and framed it with a coordinating blue border. To finish, I added two silver metallic screws die cut from the Build-A-Toolbox Die Set.
