Hello Crafty Friends! I’m excited to share a fun, interactive Father’s Day card featuring the adorable Mice Tools set from Lawn Fawn’s latest release! I’ve been having such a great time with this set- the mice are full of personality and there are so many creative possibilities.
To begin, I created a brick background on A2 white cardstock using the Brick Stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide. Then, I trimmed a 5 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ floor panel using Robin Egg cardstock and adhered it to the background. I added a stitched white baseboard using the Stitched Borders set along the top edge of the floor panel.
Next, I die cut an awning from white cardstock using the Rooftop Border dies. I partially die cut it to extend the height, then ink blended it with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and added shading to the white sections using Copic marker C0. The awining was then adhered to the top of the scene.

For the car, I die cut all the pieces ( body, lights, windows, and tires) from the Deck The Car set using white cardstock. I ink blended the car body with Festive Berries and the tires with Black Soot. The hubs and window rims were die cut from silver metallic cardstock. One of the the tires is attached with a spinner mechanism to add a fun interactive element!
I colored the lights and windows wth Copic markers listed below. I stamped and die cut the remaining images and colored them with Copic markers listed below. To create the stack of tires, I modified the sushi roll image from the Let’s Roll set by drawing in additional lines with a black multiliner.
To finish, I added a white heat embossed “Happy Father’s Day” sentiment from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring and “To The Best Dad Who Can Fix Anything” from the Mice Tool set stamped in Lobster ink. Both sentiments were trimmed using the Everyday Sentiment Banners set,
Thank you so much for joining me today! I hope this card gives you some inspiration for your Father’s Day projects!

Catherine, you are amazing with your creating…also probably a little twisted to come up with your ideas to use all of the available stamps! Are you as young as your photo or are you fooling us…either way keep your creating up.
Thanks so much for your kind words Cindy! My eldest is in his year of University 🙂
