WATERING CAN SHAKER WITH PRETTY PINK POSH

Hello Crafty Friends! Spring is in the air and I’m excited to share a watering can shaker card created with Pretty Pink Posh’s newest release.

To begin, I used the Watercolor Circle to create a soft watercolor-style background on a 5 1/4″ x 5 1/4′ white panel, blending Kitsch Flamingo, Squeezed Lemonade, and Salvage Patina Distress Oxide Inks.

Next, I die cut florals from the Stitched Spring Flowers Die set and added color with Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Kitsch Flamingo, Spun Sugar, Mowed Lawn, and Twisted Citron.

I created the shaker element by die cutting the watering can frame from white cardstock and softly inking the edges with Salvaged Patina. I die cut the base from white cardstock and ink blended with Tumbled Glass, then die cut an additional base from acetate. I adhered the acetate behind the frame, and added a foam tape border, filled it with Pastel Dreams Shaker Beads, and sealed the shaker closed.

Next, I stamped and die cut “Happy Spring” from the Easter Word Scenes Stamp set and colored the image with Copic markers listed below.

To assembled the card, I adhered the stitched flowers, watering can shaker, and the sentiment onto the watercolour background., then finished the card with a turquoise border.
