Hello Crafty Friends! It’s March Release Day at Papertrey Ink, and I’m so excited to share a cheerful spring floral wagon card featuring the new Spring Wagon Die. For a playful touch, I added a canopy from the Frozen Delights Die Set!
To begin, I ink blended a soft cloud background on A2 white cardstock using Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxides with the Clouds Stencil. Then, I added a stitched border from my stash to frame the scene.
Next, I die cut the wagon and the floral elements using the Spring Wagon Die from white cardstock and ink blended them with the following Papertrey Inks:
Flowers: Lilac Grace, Lavender Moon, Lovely Lady, Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, Pale Peony
Grass: New Leaf, Simply Chartreuse
Wagon and Brackets: Vintage Cream, Fine Linen,
Wheels and Handle: Honey Nut, Walnut Stain (Distress Ink)
I die cut the canopy from Frozen Delights Set and inked the edges with Vintage Cream and Fine Linen.
I assembled the wagon with the florals onto the cloud panel. To finish, I added a gold-heat embossed “Happy Spring” sentiment from the Spring Wagon Stamp Set, accented with gold enamel dots on the sign and wheel hubs, plus a few glitter drops for extra sparkle.
