I ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a Valentine’s card featuring these adorable cuties from Lawn Fawn’s latest Valentines release! Since moles are known for their poor eyesight, I couldn’t resist turning that into a fun little pun for this design.

I started by stenciling a heart background using Outline Hearts Stencil with Festive Berries, Kitsch Flamingo, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides. I then die-cut a white back panel using the Postage Rectangle Stackables, trimmed the heart panel to fit, and adhered everything together.

Next, I die cut the canvas from white cardstock and the easel from White Woodgrain Cardstock, softly ink blending it with Antique Linen and adding a bit more ink around the edges for depth. For the floor, I trimmed another panel of White Woodgrain Cardstock, lightly ink blended it with Spun Sugar, and added a stitched strip of whiter cardstock as the baseboard.

I stamped “I Only Have Eyes For You” on the canvas using a mix of alphabet stamp black ink. I added some hearts stamped in Lobster ink along the sides.

I stamped and die cut the images (moles, rug, glasses, chair, and plant) with the coordinating dies and coloured them with Copic markers listed below. I finished off the card with two hearts tucked in at the sides.
