Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a sweet Spring/Easter-themed card created with the Weave-A-Basket Die Set and Feathered Friends Stamp and Die Set from Papertrey Ink.
I started by creating a soft cheerful background on A2 white cardstock using Kitsch Flamingo, Spun Sugar, Mustard Seed, and Scattered Straw Distress Oxides. Once blended, I ran the panel through my die-cut machine with the Ornate Cover Plate and adhered it to an A2 white card base.
Next, I die cut a grassy border using the Grassy Edge Die and ink blended it with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides. To add texture, I splattered the panel with water and green watercolor. I adhered the border to the ornate panel using foam tape along the bottom and sides.

I die cut the basket pieces, eggs, bow, and grass from Weave-A-Basket using white cardstock and ink blended with the following distress oxides:
Easter Eggs: Kitsch Flamingo, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac, Scattered Straw
Grass: Bundled Sage
Bow: Spun Sugar
I wove the basket together and lightly inked the edges with a Copic Marker (listed below). I adhered the grass behind the basket and tucked the eggs inside. The basket was then added to the front panel behind the grassy border.
The sweet chicks were stamped and die cut using the coordinating dies, and I added a bit of texture with a Copics for extra detail.
To finish the card, I added a “Hello Spring” sentiment from Thoughts of Spring set and layered it over vellum, and topped the bow with a pink button for a final touch.
Thanks so much for joining me today! Be sure to check out all the adorable Easter goodies over at Papertrey Ink!
