DIE CUT SEE THROUGH CARD WITH PAPERTREY INK

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a see through die-cut card created with the Leave A Little Thanks Stamp and Die Set from Papertrey Ink’s latest release! The leaves are absolutely beautiful, and I love how many different color combinations you can create with this set!

To begin, I stamped the leaves using Pale Peony and Hibiscus Burst ink, then die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Next, I arranged the leaves across an A2 acetate panel laid over white cardstock, using it as a guide for placement. I adhered the leaves together where they overlapped to keep everything securely in place, then trimmed off any excess that extended beyond the panel.

For the frame, I die cut two layers- one from white cardstock and one from Hibiscus Burst cardstock using the Reflections: Joshua 1 Die Collection. I then die cut another layer from white cardstock using the smallest from Love To Layer: Polished Points Die Collection. I ink blended this layer with Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides, then spritzed it with a gold shimmer spray for added texture. Once dry, I adhered all the layers in place.

I stamped “Thank You” and “You make a difference” onto white cardstock and die cut the sentiments with the coordinating dies.

For the card back, I trimmed a white cardstock panel to 4 1/4″ x 5 3/4″. I marked and scored across 1/4″ down from the top edge of the 5 3/4″ side, then used a bone folder to create a crisp crease. I applied adhesive to the underside of the leaves and the panel along the scored edge.

To finish the card, I popped the layered sentiment into the center of the design using foam tape and added a few crystal gems for a touch of sparkle. I carefully adhered the layered sentiment onto the middle of the layout with foam tape.
