MERRY CRITTERS WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I’m sharing a fun holiday card filled with cozy woodland characters, featuring the Fox die from Lawn Fawn’s latest release.

To set the scene, I ink blended Seedless Preserves, Blueprint Sketch, and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxides on an A2 white panel. I added some snowflakes with the new Snowflake Stencil with Yeti Ink. I splattered the panel with some white acrylic paint and set it aside to dry.

I then die cut the forest frame with White Woodgrain Cardstock using the Spooky Forest Backdrop and added some Chunky Glitter highlights on the branches.

Next, I die cut some snowhills with Stitched Hillside Borders. I inked the hills with Tumbled Glass and added some shadowing with Copic Markers, BG000, B000, and BV000. For a glittery effect, I added some Chunky Glitter on the edges. I set the snow hills aside to dry.

Next, I die cut the critters:

Fox– I used the Fox, Christmas Accessories, and Winter Accessories sets. I ink blended the Fox with the following distress oxides and adhered the pieces together:

Body- Rusty Hinge, Ripe Persimmon
Face and hands-Antique linen
Cheeks- Kitsch Flamingo
Boots and Sweater: Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean
Santa Hat- Festive Berries

Bear– I used the Fox, Tiny Gift Box Skunk set, and Winter Accessories set. I borrowed the face from Tiny Gift Box Skunk. I ink blended the Bear with the following distress oxides and adhered the pieces together:

Body, Face, and Hands- Antique Linen
Cheeks- Kitsch Flamingo
Jacket- Festive Berries
Mug- Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass
Boots- Hickory Smoke

Raccoon– I used the Fox set and borrowed the mask from Build-A-Critter More Costumes. I ink blended the Raccoon with the following distress oxides and adhered the pieces together:

Face and Body- Pumice Stone, Black Soot
Cheeks- Spun Sugar
Scarf- Aged Mahogany

I die cut the present using paper from All The Sparkles Petite Paper Pack and added a shiny gold bow. The sentiment combines a “Merry” sentiment outlined in blue with “Christmas” from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment Winter. I added more sparkle with a few crystal gems on the snowflakes and present.
