Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I’m excited to share a magical Nutcracker-themed holiday card featuring the Nutcracker Magic Stamps and Dies from Papertrey Ink’s latest release. This set is so festive and full of charm- it was a joy to create with!
I started by die cutting the Cover Plate: Stitched Snowflakes from white cardstock to create a textured background. I rounded the edges with a corner punch and added a touch of sparkle by gold heat embossing stars across the panel.
Next, I gold hot foiled a frame using the Merry Motifs Hot Foil Plate on white cardstock. I fussy cut the frame.
I die cut the tree using Build-A-Christmas Tree out of Yeti Cardstock and ink blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide. I decorated it with gold metallic ornaments and garland, then adhered it to the background. I adhered the Merry Motif Frame overtop with foam tape for dimension.
Next, I stamped and die cut the Nutcracker characters and garland. I colored the images with Copic Markers listed below.
To complete the design, I added a festive sentiment from the set and framed everything with a bold red border.
