YOU’RE SO TWEET WITH PAPERTREY INK

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing a cheerful birdie card created with So Tweet, Perfectly Potted, and Wandering Petals Hot Foil Plate– from Papertrey Ink’s fabulous August Release!

I started with a soft cloudy background, ink blended with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide using a stencil in my stash. I added gold hot foiling with the Wandering Petals Hot Foil Plate and then cut the panel with a Deckled Edge Die for texture.

The sweet little bird was die cut from White Cardstock and ink blended it with Salty Ocean, Shaded Lilac, and Tumbled Glass. The blended the feet with Walnut Stain and the beak with Carved Pumpkin.

I die cut the flower pot foliage using the Perfectly Potted die set. I ink blended the pot with Aged Mahogany and Rusty Hinge. I added texture with a Copic marker (E08), white gel pen, and metallic gold pen. I ink blended the foliage with Rustic Wilderness and Bundled Sage.

I added some sunflowers ink blended with Carved Pumpkin and Fossilized Amber. To finish, I added a sentiment from the set and a light blue border to frame the design.
