Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Papertrey Ink’s August release day and I’m excited to share a cookie-themed Halloween card featuring the Halloween Cookie Swap dies along with the sweet little ghost from It’s Crystal Clear die set – both from the new release!
To begin, I used the Lush Foliage Cover Plate over A2 White Cardstock to create a subtle, neutral backdrop. I layered this onto another piece of A2 White Cardstock for added dimension.
Next, I die cut a black frame with the frame die from the Mat Stack: Happy Halloween Collection.
For the baking elements, I die cut the cookie sheet, spatula, and rolling pin from the Cookie Swap Die set. I ink blended the cookie sheet with Silver Metallic Ink. I set it aside to dry. Once dried, I splattered some White Acrylic Paint onto the sheet. I ink blended the rolling pin with Salvaged Patina and the Spatula with Salvaged Patina and Silver Metallic Ink.
I die cut the cookie shapes and inked the base with Vintage Cream. I then die cut the images and inked them with Distress Oxides listed below.

For the ghost, I die cut from It’s Crystal Clear and lightly coloured the edges with Copic Markers listed below and added some rosy cheeks.
I borrowed the witch’s hat die and some spiders from Spooky Delights. I finished off the card with a “Happy Halloween” sentiment die cut from Berry Sorbet and Black Cardstock.
Thanks so much for joining me today! Don’t forget to take a peek at all the fun new goodies from Papertrey Ink’s August Release!
