DON’T WORRY BE CAPY WITH LAWN FAWN!

Hello Crafty Friends! I’m excited to share a beach themed card featuring the adorable Capybaras from Lawn Fawn’s Summer Release!

To start, I created a cloudy background by ink blending Salty Ocean Distress Oxide onto A2 White Cardstock using the Cloudy Stencil. For the sandy hill, I used the Stitched Hillside Border die and blended it with Antique Linen and Scattered Straw Distress Oxides. I added some texture with a Copic marker and a white gel pen.

To create the ocean waves, I die cut Vellum using Stitched Wave Borders and added sparkle along the edges with some Star Dust glitter glue.

Next, I die cut the hammock and palm trees and ink blended them with the following Distress Oxides:

Palm Trees– Gathered Twigs, Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint

Coconuts– Walnut Stain

Hammock– Festive Berries, Kitsch Flamingo

I stamped and die cut all the images using the coordinating dies. I coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below.

I layered the vellum waves onto the front panel and arranged the images where I wanted them. I then stamped some water bubbles using Yeti Ink and added a few white gel pen dots for extra texture.

To finish the card, I added a frame using patterned paper from the Gleeful Gradients Petite Paper Pack and stamped a sentiment from the Capybaras! set.
