Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I’m sharing a shaker card featuring the Build-A- Butterfly set and the Wing Serenity Hot Foil plate from Papertrey Ink’s June Release.
To begin, I created a tone on tone butterfly background by hot foiling A2 white cardstock with the Winged Serenity hot foil plate. I then used the solid butterfly die from the Build-A-Butterfly die set to cut out two butterfly windows on the panel.
I flipped the panel over and adhered A2 sized acetate onto the back. Next, I die cut two butterfly frames out from white cardstock and inked the the butterfly bodies with Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Kitsch Flamingo, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides.
I sprinkled some confetti onto another A2 sized white panel and layered the die cut panel over top using foam tape to created the shaker element.
I then adhered the butterflies onto the front and finished the card with a “Thinking Of You” sentiment and a pink border.
