TOY STORY INSPIRED GIFT CARD HOLDER WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! I’m so excited to be sharing a Toy Story inspired graduation card created with the Pull n’ Slide Slider Surprise! This card was created with a young kindergartener in mind- celebrating a big milestone as he gets ready to blast off into his next adventure!

To start, I created the A2 background panel using blue patterned paper from the new Bitsy Blooms Petite Paper Pack. The pull tab panel was die cut from the coordinating yellow patterned paper from the same set. I die cut the frame and sliding mechanism out of White Cardstock.

For the outer space scene, I ink blended Chipped Sapphire, Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet Distress Oxides to create a galaxy effect on the frame and sliding mechanism. I added a spritz of Frosted Shimmer spray onto the panels and set the panels aside to dry. Once dry, I White Heat Embossed the sentiment “Reach for the Stars” and some stars.

Next, I stamped and die cut all the images with the coordinating dies and coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. I assembled the mechanism. Lawn Fawn has a great Intro to Pull n’ Slide Surprise video Pull n’ Slide Surprise with step by step instructions.

I die cut a bottom border using Woodgrain Light Brown Cardstock and adhered it onto the base of the front panel. I White Heat Embossed “Congratulations” and some stars onto the chalkboard. I adhered the chalkboard and the images onto the card.
