MOWING THE LAWN WITH LAWN FAWN!

Hello Crafty Friends! I’m excited to share a fun Magic Picture Changer card featuring Lawn Fawn’s adorable “I Love You Mower” set! This sweet little set was a gift with purchase during the April Release and as soon as it arrived with my package of goodies, I knew I had to create a card with it!

To start, I die cut all the pieces of the Magic Picture Changer and the frame from the Magic Picture Changer Add-On set out of White Cardstock. I centered the frame over A2 White Cardstock and ink blended a cloudy sky background with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide. Using the Grassy Stencil, I added a grassy border at the bottom with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide.

Next, I stamped the mouse and lawn mower onto the two coordinating pieces from the Magic Picture Changer die set. I coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. After masking off the images, I ink blended a matching sky and grassy border onto each piece using Salty Ocean Distress Oxide for the sky and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide for the grass, carefully lining them up with the background. I splattered some green watercolor over the grass area for added texture.

I stamped and die cut the images with the coordinating dies. I coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. I stamped some grass clippings with Freshly Cut Grass and Cilantro Ink onto the background, wheelbarrow, and inside the grass bag for extra detail.

I adhered the trees onto each side of the card panel and assembled the Magic Picture Changer mechanism, securing it to the center of the card. I adhered the remaining stamped images around the scene and attached the sentiment “I Love You Mower Every Day” at the top.

To finish the card, I added a decorative frame and pull tab using paper from the Bitsy Blooms Petite Paper Pack.
