Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I’ m sharing a fun, kitchen themed standing card using Mom’s Kitchen Stamps & Dies from Papertrey Ink’s April Release! For this card, I created a standing base for ease of display and extra dimension.
To start, I wanted to add texture onto the cabinet and background so I applied Salvaged Patina Distress Ink onto a gel plate and then pressed an A2 White Cardstock panel onto it and rolled over the back with a brayer. I set the background aside.
I repeated the process again on another piece of White Cardstock, then used the cabinet die from the set to cut my kitchen cabinets. To build the standing base, I trimmed two cardstock strips, one 6 3/4″ x 1 1/4″ , and the other 4 7/8″ x 1 1/4″. I scored both strips 1/4″ from each end and on the longer strip, I added an additional score line 1″ from the first.

After folding along all the score lines, I assembled and adhered the base together, then attached the die-cut cabinets on top.
For the background wall, I ink blended A2 White Cardstock with the Brick Wall Stencil using Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide, then added a splatter of dark blue watercolor for texture. I die cut the panel using the Love To Layer: Notched Dies to give it a decorative edge.
Next, I die cut the all the kitchen themed images, stamping them in inks listed below.

I adhered the images onto the wall. I then adhered the standing base onto the back panel followed by the images onto the inset panel.

I added some glittery accents and some sparkly enamel dots onto some of the images for a finishing touch. Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you like my cozy kitchen scene!
