Hello Crafty Friends! I’m sharing a floral card featuring the gorgeous Anemone set from Papertrey Ink’s April Release.
To begin, I created the background by hot foiling White Cardstock with the Delicate Circles Hot Foil Plate using shades of purple Glimmer Foil. I trimmed the panel to layer neatly within an A2-sized White Border.
For the focal layer, I used the largest die from Love To Layer: To A Point Dies, die cutting it from White Cardstock. I then ink blended the panel with a mix of Blueprint Sketch, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet, and Seedless Preserves Distess Oxides.
Next, I die cut the anemone flowers and ink blended using Chipped Sapphire and Wilted Violet Distress Oxides. The leaves were ink blended with Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxides and I added a pop of yellow to the berries with Squeezed Lemonade.

To add some shimmer and texture, I sprayed the flowers and foliage with Frosted Shimmer Spray before arranging and adhering them to the background. I completed the card with a sentiment: “Love” stamped in navy, paired with “is all you need” for a sweet finishing touch.
Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you like my card!

Wowza, is this ever BEAUTIFUL! Love it!! I did not know PTI was coming out with a shimmer spray. There are so many brands of “all the things” now that one hardly knows which one to get. And if one already has 2-3 brands, one doesn’t know if another one will be different or better or what.

Aww thank you so much Lori! The spray is called Shimmer Craft Spray from Imagine. Yes, there are so many brands that carry everything and I definitely forget who has what all the time.
This is so pretty – gorgeous colours
Thanks Gab! I’m really happy you like the colors!
