Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I am sharing an Easter card featuring the adorable Build-A-Bunny die set!
To create the background, I ink-blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide onto an A2-sized white cardstock panel for a soft, cloudy effect. I splattered some blue watercolour onto the panel for added detail.
For the grassy border, I die-cut white cardstock using the Grassy Border die and ink-blended it with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide. The grass inside the basket was also blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide. I splattered some green watercolour onto the grass.
For the basket, I used the Build-A-Basket Easter die set, die cutting it from white cardstock and ink-blending it with Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs Distress Oxides. I die cut the decorative edges of the basket with white cardstock and vellum.
I die-cut the cute bunny using the Build-A-Bunny set and dressed it up with overalls made from patterned paper in the Bitsy Blooms Petite Paper Pack. I ink-blended its body with Lost Shadow Distress Oxide and added subtle shading to the ears, nose, and feet using Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide.
For a fun finishing touch, I created a pair of sunglasses using the flower die from Spring Critter Huggers and the glasses frame from Woodland Critter Huggers Summer Add-On. I die-cut two flowers and then I die cut circle openings with the Bubbles of Joy smallest circle die on each flower. I trimmed the bridge and temples from the glasses in the Woodland Critter Huggers Summer Add-On set and adhered them onto the flowers. The entire frame was ink-blended with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide. For the lenses, I lightly ink-blended vellum with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide before fussy cutting two circles to fit inside the frame (coloured vellum would work as well but I didn’t have any on hand). Finally, I adhered the sunglasses onto the bunny for a playful, sunny-day look!

I die-cut two carrots from the Stitched Root Veggies set and ink-blended them with Carved Pumpkin and Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxides. For the leafy tops, I used Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide. I tucked the carrots into the basket and adhered the bunny on top.
To frame the scene, I die-cut the Flower Garden Backdrop and lightly ink-blended it with Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters Distress Oxides. I then added flowers, ink-blended in Kitsch Flamingo, Spun Sugar, Mustard Seed, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides.
For a rustic touch, I die-cut two wooden signs from the Build-A-Cabin set, ink-blending them with Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide. I white heat-embossed the sentiment “Loves You” onto one of the signs and tucked it into the basket.
To complete the sentiment, I stamped “Some Bunny” with Memento Ink and Carrot Ink onto a white banner with a cheerful yellow background.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you love this Easter card as much as I enjoyed creating it! 🐰🌸💛
