PANDA SWING PLATFORM POP-UP WITH LAWN FAWN

Happy Valentines and Galentine’s Day! I am wishing everyone lots of love with this Panda Platform Pop-up card!

To start, I created the platform pop up using the Platform Pop Up die with Pesto Cardstock. I die cut a cloud insert out of White Cardstock and I ink blended the cloud background with a Cloudy Stencil using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide. I ink blended the grass with Mowed Grass Distress Oxide and splattered some green watercolor for added texture.

I ink blended a heart background using Lots of Hearts Background stencils with Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Festive Berries Distress Oxide. I die cut the the heart background with the Hillside Wrap Die and wrapped it around the base of the platform pop up. I added some Pink Gingham Washi Tape and a lacy border around the bottom.

I die cut the bamboo using the Bamboo Forest Backdrop. I trimmed off the bamboos and ink blended the bamboo with Mowed Lawn and Rusty Wilderness Distress Oxide.

To make the swing, I die cut the porch out of leftover Kraft paper die cut with the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop. I shortened the porch by trimming it in half and then trimming the middle. I adhered it together again. I used the anchor image from Smooth Sailing. I trimmed off the rope from the anchor and I used the rope for the swing. I adhered the rope onto the swing seat and then I used 7mm and 8mm split rings to attached the swing onto the overhanging bamboo stalk.

I stamped and diecut the images. I coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. I finished off the platform pop up card with a White Heat Embossed sentiment.
