FIGGY PUDDING WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I am sharing a holiday card featuring figgy pudding! I love figgy pudding and when I saw the cute mouse holding the figgy pudding in the Sweet Christmas Mice set, I knew I had to create a card with it!

To start, I die cut A2 sized background with Twinkling White Paper. I added a border on the bottom using paper from Favourite Flannel Petite Paper Pack.

I then die cut two Winter Wonderland windows , one out of White Cardstock (A) and the other out of Strawberry Frosting paper(B). I removed the window from (B) and set it aside for future projects. I adhered the white window (A) onto the negative of (B). I adhered the frame onto the background with foam tape.

I created the figgy pudding by die cutting the medium sized apple in Outside In Stitched Apple Stackables. I die cut two apples out of White Cardstock. I turned one apple upside down. I ink blended the apple with Gathered Twigs and Antique Linen Distress Oxides. I splattered some brown watercolour onto the figgy pudding for added texture.

I created the icing by using the icing die in I Scream, You Scream. I placed the icing across the second apple and ran it through my die cut machine to get the icing. I added some glitter along the edges.

I die cut the holly from Cute Candy Canes and ink blended with Festive Berries and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides. I added some glitter for extra sparkle.

I stamped and diecut the images. I coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. I added a “Merry” sentiment and I finished off the card with some white snowflakes from the Winter Wonderland Window set.
