MONOCHROMATIC HOLIDAY CARD WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s time for another Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! Challenge #183 is Monochromatic: Shades of One Color. For this Challenge, I am featuring my favourite color- Blue!

To start, I die cut a scalloped frame out of White Cardstock using Stitched Scalloped Square Frames. I then die cut a ripple backdrop using Stitched Ripple Backdrop out of a 3 7/8″ square piece of White Cardstock and a 2″ circle.

I die cut three sets of the wreath using Magic Iris Holly Wreath Add-On, one out of White Cardstock and one out of Wishing Well Paper, and one out of paper from Textured Canvas Cardstock – Blue. I ink blended the white wreath with the following Distress Oxides: Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, and Blueprint Sketch. I layered the wreaths on top of each other and adhered them together. I flipped the wreath over and adhered an acetate circle on the back. I added foam tape around the edges of the circle.

I placed some shaker elements onto the 2″ ripple circle. I removed the backing from the foam tape around the edges of the circle and adhered it onto the 2″ripple circle.

I adhered the square ripple background onto another square using paper from the Pint-Sized Patterns Summertime Petite Paper Pack. I then adhered the square onto the scalloped frame.

I adhered the wreath shaker onto the middle of the card. I die cut “Joy” using Joy Scripty and Joy Outline dies and adhered the sentiment onto the wreath.

I stamped and die cut some winter birds out of the coordinating dies from the Winter Birds set. I coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below.

I finished the card with some pearl stickers and a square frame using paper from Falling Leaves Petite Paper Pack.
