VISITING EGYPT WITH LAWN FAWN!

Hello Crafty Friends! I’am sharing one more card for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #182, Sightseeing: a place you want to visit. For this card, I was inspired by the Egyptian Pyramids. I am always in awe when I see photos of the majestic structures and perhaps one day I will be able to visit!

To start, I die cut White Cardstock with the largest rectangle in the Large Stitched Rounded Rectangle Stackables set. Using the Cloudy Stencil, I ink blended the sky with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide. Next I die cut the sand with Stitched Hillside Borders. I die cut some Sandy Beach Accents onto the panel to tuck my images inside the sand. I used the baking sheet die from Sprinkled With Joy to create the excavation trench. I ink blended the sand with Gathered Twigs and Scattered Straw Distress Oxides. I stamped “I’m So Happy I Found You” onto the bottom of the panel. I added texture with Copic Markers E41, E42, and a White Gelly Pen.

I created the pyramids by cutting some triangles as illustrated below. I then ink blended the triangles with Scattered Straw and Tea Dye Distress Oxides. I added some details with Copic Markers E41 and a White Gel Pen.

I stamped and die cut the images with the coordinating dies. I masked off the back of the Llama and drew in a hump to create the camel. I coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. I adhered the images onto the card and I finished off the the card with some puffy cloud frames.
