CUTIE PIE SWIVEL SURPRISE WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s pie season and I’am sharing an autumn themed pie card created with the super fun Swivel Surprise die.

To start, I die cut the Stitched Ripple Background with A2 White Cardstock. I then die cut the Falling Leaves Backdrop with White Cardstock and I ink blended the leaves with Dried Marigold, Rusty Hinge, Festive Berries, Gathered Twigs, and Antique Linen Distress Oxides. I adhered the backdrop onto the Stitched Ripple Background. I die cut a plaid frame using cardstock from the Falling Leaves Petite Paper pack and adhered it over top. I Gold Heat Embossed the sentiment on a vellum band and wrapped the band around the front.

For the inside of the card, I die cut two rectangles with Chestnut paper using the largest die in the Small Stitched Rounded Rectangle Stackables set. I adhered the two rounded rectangles onto a white card base. Next, I die cut the parts of the Swivel surprise out of paper from the Falling Leaves Petite Paper Pack.

To make the pies, I used the 2 7/8″ (large pie) and the 2 5/15″ (small pie) scalloped circles. I laid the next smallest scalloped circle inside the larger circle to make the pie crusts. I ink blended the pumpkin pie with Dried Marigold and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxides. For the lattice pie, I ink blended the background with Festive Berries and Candied Apple Distress Oxides. I decorated the top of the pie with strips of weave paper and leaves. The crusts, leaves, and lattice were ink blended with Antique Linen Distress Oxide and Gathered Twigs along the edges.

I adhered some confetti to resemble sugar. I stamped and die cut the images with the coordinating dies. I coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. I finished off the card with another gold embossed sentiment and a black stamped sentiment.
