REFLECTIONS WITH PAPERTREY INK

Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I’m sharing one last card for Papertrey Ink’s September Release. I created a card featuring the September Psalm Reflection, Luke 2:14 and frame set. I wanted to create a chalkboard background for the reflection.

To start, I die cut the Cross Stitched Die Cover Plate out of A2 White Cardstock. I adhered the panel onto A2 Red Cardstock.

I die cut the Reflections frame out of Black Cardstock. I inked the frame with Hero Arts Unicorn White Ink. I stamped the frame with the Psalm stamp and I White Heat embossed the Psalm. I splattered some White Acrylic Paint onto the panel for added texture.

I die cut the all the images from Into The Blooms: Swag Die. I ink blended the images with the following Distress Oxides:

Bow: Spun Sugar, Festive Berries, Aged Mahagony

Greens: Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn, Bundled Sage, and Pine Needles

Log: Walnut Stain, and Gathered Twigs

Berries: Festive Berries, Aged Mahogany

I splattered White Acrylic Paint mixed with a little bit of water for added texture.

Next, I die cut two fancy snowflakes out of White Cardstock using Fancy Snowflake Frame. I adhered the snowflakes onto the front panel. I tied a plaid ribbon from my stash onto the frame and adhered the frame on top of the snowflakes.

I adhered the swag onto the bottom of the frame and finished off the card with a bow on top!
