Hello Crafty Friends! I am extremely honoured to be guest designing for Papertrey Ink’s September Release! The September release is filled with beautiful holiday themed stamps and dies which is so hard to choose from! In particular, there is a vintage North Pole Mail stamp set that is stunning! It has a variety of vintage styled stamps and even comes with a Santa belt!
For this project, I used the Valentine’s mailbox from With Love Die Collection along with the North Pole Mail stamp set and created a mailbox themed advent calendar.
To start, I die cut all the pieces for the mailbox from With Love Die Collection using some pretty striped and polka dot cardstock. I added some snow with glitter onto the mailbox. Next, I die cut the holly using the new Swag Die and ink blended the holly with Festive Berries, Aged Mahogany, Mowed Lawn, and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxides. I added some snow with a Snow Writer.
I stamped and die cut the images from the North Pole Mail set adhered the images onto the side of the mailbox. I wrapped the large Santa belt onto the bottom of the mailbox. I used two Santa belts to cover the back and the front of the mailbox.
I diecut the letters in the set and I stamped the dates onto each letter. I added a striped border onto letters.
I added some round adhesive magnets onto the back of each letter and inside of the mailbox so that the letter will adhere to the front of the mailbox as you count down the days. After each day, the letter can be posted into the mailbox!
