TREE HOUSE LIBRARY WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I am so excited to be sharing a Tree House Library card created with the new super adorable stamp set, Little Woodland Library!

To start, I die cut the Platform Pop-Up with White Cardstock. I then partial die cut the wood texture on the sides of the base with Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop and I die cut A2 White Cardstock with the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop. I die cut two tree stumps from Lift the Flap Meadow.

Next, I die cut the tree house with Tree House Die and the tree tops with Platform Pop-Up Cloud Inserts. I used the smallest rectangle in Large Rectangle Stackables to make an opening in the tree trunk. I ink blended the platform pop-up, A2 stitched woodgrain backdrop, and the tree trunk with Gathered Twigs and Tea Dye Distress Oxides. I ink blended the tree tops with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxides. I sprayed some water onto the tree tops and splattered some green watercolour for added texture. Once the tree tops were dried. I stamped one of the tree tops with “I Hope Your Day Is.”

I trimmed a thin strip from the stitched woodgrain backdrop to use for the shelf. I then trimmed a rectangle from the stitched woodgrain backdrop and adhered it to the back of the tree trunk.

I adhered the platform pop-up together. I stamped and die cut the images with the coordinating dies and coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below.

I finished off the card with “Literally the best” stamped on White Cardstock. I lightly ink blended the edges to match the tree trunk.
