Hello Crafty Friends! It’s been quiet on my end as I am recovering from a bout of nasty Covid. I am slowly getting back into the swing of things and I am sharing a fun pasta themed card created with the Give-It-A-Whirl Die. These little mice are busy making their secret recipe pasta sauce!
To start, I die cut the backdrop using the Radiant Heart Backdrop Die with White Cardstock. I adhered the backdrop on top of a piece of A2 White Cardstock. For the border, I die cut 4.25″ x 1.125″ strip of paper from the Fruit Salad Petite Paper Pack using the largest rectangle from Large Stitched Rectangles. I then placed the bottom of the largest rectangle die on the top of the border and ran it under my die cut machine to get stitching on top.

I die cut all the pieces from the Give-It-A- Whirl set with White Cardstock with the exception of the tab. I ink blended the outer rim of the larger circle with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide. I made a wavy stencil using die cut waves from Stitched Simple Wavy Borders. I used the mask in the set and masked off the outer rim and ink blended the waves with Festive Berries and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides. I splattered the waves with dark red water color.

I die cut the tab with the same paper used in the border and the arrow with Silver Metallic Cardstock.
I ink blended the edges of the smaller circle with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide and splatter some watered down black watercolour.

I stamped all the images and die cut the images with the coordinating dies. I coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below with the exception of basil and herbs. I stamped the basil leaves with Cilantro and Freshly Cut Grass Ink.
I die cut the herbs and ink blended with the same inks. I stamped the spaghetti with Sugar Cookie Ink using the wire stamps in Screentime.

I pieced the Give-It-A Whirl die together and adhered it onto the front panel. I added some handles using the mason jar handle die cut with Silver Metallic Cardstock to resemble a pot.

I adhered the remaining images onto the card. I finished off the card with a White Heat Embossed sentiment and a sentiment stamped with Lobster Ink.
Thanks so much for joining me today, I hope you like my card!
