Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I’am sharing another card created for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #171. I used the “I” Bingo line to create a Construction themed Birthday Card!
To start, I die cut a stitched border on A2 White Cardstock using the largest die from Large Rectangle Stackables. I ink blended the top half with a Cloudy Stencil using Salty Ocean Distress Oxide. I made the dirt piles by die cutting White Cardstock with the Stitched Wavy Backdrop: Portrait. I ink blended the dirt with Gathered Twigs and Antique Linen Distress Oxide. I splattered the dirt with brown watercolour and white acrylic paint for added texture.
I added a road using On The Road die. I ink blended the road with Black Soot Distress Oxide and the lane markings with Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxides. I sprayed the road with some water and splattered some white acrylic paint.
I adhered the dirt onto the cloudy background and then I adhered the road on top.
I stamped and diecut all the images and coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. I die cut “LOADS” out of White Cardstock using Henry’s ABCs and ink blended the letters with Black Soot Distress Oxide. I finished the card by adding “Hope your Birthday is loads of fun” sentiment from the Loads of Fun set.
