PATCHWORK STUFFIE WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s time for a new Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! Challenge #170 is Patterned Paper: Feature Your Favourite Lawn Fawn Papers or Create Your Own! For this Challenge, I played around with a mixture of different patterned papers and came up with a patchwork themed card featuring a stuffed animal and background.

To start, I die cut three frames using the Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait, one out of White Cardstock, the second out of paper from the Rainbow Ever After Petite Paper Pack and the third from What’s Sewing On? Petite Paper Pack. I adhered the White frame onto A2 size White Cardstock followed by the squares of the other two frames. I saved the frames for future use.

I created the patchwork stuffie using the Tiny Gift Box Dog Add-On for the head and Tiny Gift Box Raccoon and Fox Add-On for the body. I die cut two small circles from Circle Stackables for the paws. I inked the outer edges of the patchwork stuffed animal with Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide and I added stitching lines with pencil crayons. I highlighted the eyes and nose with a White Gelly Roll pen.

I stamped the buttons and coloured them with Copic Markers listed below. I stamped the “Sew Cute” sentiment using Fish Tank and No. 2 Pencil Ink. I stamped the threads using Fish Tank and Tumbled Glass inks. I adhered the images onto the front panel. I added a White Heat Embossed “You’re.” I finished off the card with a slim border using paper from What’s Sewing On?
