Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I am sharing another card for Challenge # 165, “Lot’s of Heart.” For this Challenge, I thought it would be fun to create a card inspired by Etch-a-Sketch. I am not sure if anyone has played with an Etch-a-Sketch but it was one of my favourite toys growing up!
To start, I die cut the front panel out of White Cardstock using the largest die from Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I ink blended the panel with Lots of Hearts Stencil using Spun Sugar, Kirsch Flamingo, and Festive Berries Distress Oxides. I die cut a square opening with a square die from Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up (it fits perfectly with the Magic Picture Changer).
I die cut the Magic Picture Changer pieces with Grey Cardstock. I lightly ran some Yeti ink onto the center of the pieces with my finger tip. I stamped the sentiment from Magic Heart Messages onto one of the pieces and assembled the Magic Picture Changer together. I adhered the mechanism onto a A2 Pink Background.

Next, I adhered the Lot’s of Hearts panel overtop with foam tape, carefully lining up the window openings.
To make the Etch-a-Sketch, I trimmed white cardstock to 3” x 3 3/4” and rounded off the corners with a corner punch. I ink blended the frame with Festive Berries and Lumberjack Red Distress Oxide. I created the window opening in the middle with the square die from Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up. I added the dials made with the Circle Dies from Let’s Bookeh and Circle Stackables.
I stamped and die cut the images. I coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. I adhered the images onto the front of the card. I finished off the card with a Gold Hot Foil sentiment.
The Challenge is open until Sunday, February 18th at 11:59PM ET. All entries will have a chance to receive a $50 Lawn Fawn gift card and you will also have a chance to be featured in the Lawn Fawnatics Blog!
