“YOU ROCK” VALENTINES CARD WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s time for a new Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! Challenge #165 is “lots of hearts.” For this Challenge, I was inspired by jukeboxes and poodle skirts.

To start, I die cut the Ta!-Da! Diorama with the Heart Add-On out of White Cardstock. I ink blended the background with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide using a Brick Stencil. I lightly splattered the background with black water colour mixed with a few drops of water. I randomly stamped “graffiti” over the front of the diorama.

For the floor, I stamped White Cardstock with Gingham Backdrop and Mermaid Ink. I then placed the ground inserts from the set and ran it under my die cut machine.

For the counter, I trimmed rectangle 2 1/2″ x 1″ out of pink card stock and added some strips of silver metallic and dark pink cardstock. I adhered the counter onto the back of the diorama.

To make the jukebox, I masked off the bottom of the Spaceship in Beam Me Up to get the arch.  I then stamped the bee  hive screen board in You’re a Keeper inside the bottom of the arch and I hand drew the details. I stamped and die cut all the images and coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. To make the records, I used various circle stamps from Let’s Bookeh and hand drew the grooves.

I finished off the card with a “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment from Scent With Love Add-On.
