RINGING IN THE NEW YEAR WITH LAWN FAWN!

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s time for a new Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! Challenge #163 is the last Challenge of the year. This time, the Challenge is to create a card or project inspired by the Happy New Year inspiration board. For this Challenge, I made a 3D pop up card using the Platform Pop Up die featuring our mice friends ringing in 2024!

To start, I put together the Platform Pop Up using Yeti Cardstock. Next, I die cut 3 sets of “Happy” out of Yeti cardstock, Black Licorice Cardstock, and Sparkle Gold Cardstock using the Giant Happy Birthday die. I trimmed off the bottom word “Birthday” with scissors. I die cut three sets of “2024” using Louie’s 123s with the same cardstock: Yeti, Black Licorce, and Sparkle Gold. I adhered the three layers together in the same order. I added some gold glitter onto the top layer with some Ranger Ink Gold Stickles. I then adhered “2024” on the bottom of the word “Happy.”

I glued strips of acetate on the bottom of “Happy 2024,” added some adhesive onto the ends of the strips and slipped the strips into the middle seam on top of the Platform Pop Up.

I then die cut the star borders with the Star Border die out of Vellum and Sparkle Gold Cardstock. I adhered the star borders onto the Platform Pop Up. I added some hot foil fireworks on vellum.

I stamped and die cut the images and coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. For the clock, I used the mouse stamp holding the embroidery hoop in the set Sew Very Mice. I masked off the screw fitting on top of the embroidery hoop, stamped the middle with a circle stamp from Let’s Bokeh and stamped the clock hand with the arrow from Push here. I hand drew the Roman numerals.

I added some gold glitter on the hats for extra sparkle!
