Hello Crafty Friends! It’s time for a new Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! Challenge #161 is Holiday Critters! For this Challenge, I was inspired by ice skating. This time, I wanted to combine an older set ( Winter Penguin) with the new Simply Celebrate Winter Critters.
To start, I die cut the front panel out of White Cardstock using Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. I ink blended the sky on the front panel with Tumbled Glass, Milled Lavender, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxides. I lightly ink blended the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide.
I then die cut the ice rink using Stitched Pond and ink blended with the same colors. Next I put together the Let’s Toast Pull Tab. I adhered the Stitched Pond onto the front panel and used the vertical die in the set to make the slot in front of the card.
I adhered the front panel onto A2 size background using paper from the Spiffy Speckles Paper Pack.
I stamped and die cut the images with the coordinating dies and coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below.
I adhered the images onto the card front and added some chunky glitter for extra sparkle! I finished off the card with White Heat embossed sentiment on purple paper.
