Hello Crafty Friends! It’s time for another Challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! Challenge #160 is to create a project inspired by your Favourite Christmas Song or Movie! For my project, I was inspired by “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” As I didn’t have a stamp that resembled the Grinch, I thought I would use a cat from Purrfectly Wicked 🙂
To start, I die cut all the pieces from the Platform Pop Up, Platform Pop-Up Add-On, and the Hillside Wrap Around sets out of White Cardstock. I ink blended the Wrap Around with Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxides. Next, I die cut a mask for the moon using the second smallest circle from Circle Stackables.
I placed the mask in the center of the Backdrop piece and inked the sky with Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxides.
I splattered white acrylic paint onto the Wrap Around piece and the Backdrop piece.
Next, I adhered the Platform Pop Up together along with the Backdrop and Wrap around pieces. I die cut two pieces of the Forest Border out of White Cardstock and adhered the border onto the base of the pop up.
I stamped and die cut all the images and coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below. I added some glittery glue onto Santa hat and coat. I adhered the villages from Simply Celebrate Winter around the base and added some glittery glue onto the roof of the houses.
I glued all the images onto the Platform Pop Up and finished off the card with a “Merry Grinchmas!” sentiment!
