MONOCHROMATIC CHRISTMAS WITH LAWN FAWN

Hello Crafty Friends! Today, I am sharing another Monochromatic card created for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #159: Shades of one color! This time, I created a shaker card using different shades of my favourite color blue!

To start, I ink blended A2 White Card Stock with Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxides. Next, I added snow using the Snowy Sky Stencil with White Stencil Paste.

I then die cut the border out of White Cardstock using Snow Flurries border. I lightly inked the border with the same colors.

I die cut the snow globe opening using the die from Build a Snow Globe. I lightly traced the opening onto another piece of A2 White Cardstock for the back panel and set it aside.

I flipped the panel over and adhere A2 size acetate onto the back. I die cut the snow globe frame out of White Woodgrain Cardstock and I lightly inked the edges with Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide. I tied some blue twine around the base and adhered it onto the front panel. I added snow onto the top of the snow globe using a die from I Scream, You Scream and decorated it with some chunky glitter.

For the snow globe background, I lightly inked the tracing lines on the back panel with Blueprint Sketch and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxides.

Next, I stamped and die cut the images from Winter Birds and coloured the images with Copic Markers listed below.

I adhered the images onto the outlined area on the back panel and added some snowflake confetti. I flipped the front panel over and adhered foam tape around the four edges of the panel and around the outlined area. I removed the backing and adhered the front panel onto the back panel. I added a White Stitched Rectangle Frame over top and finished off the card with a “Joy To You” sentiment from Snow Globe Scenes.
